What is the worth of "Slacktivism?"

Slacktivism: actions performed via the Internet in support of a political or social cause but regarded as requiring little time or involvement, e.g., signing an online petition or joining a campaign group on a social media website.

Would you consider changing the filter on the profile picture of your social media account to, for example, the rainbow filter or the France filter meaningful activism?

Or is it mostly akin to doing nothing at all?

What about things like #prayfor....?

I plan to write a poem that touches on the subject and would love any and all replies.
