From what I've seen it's really only horrible if you're a woman, or old, or sick, or middle class/poor or need emergency medical care or mental health care. So if you're a healthy middle aged rich man with no potential need for emergency or mental health care it's phenomenal. 💁🏻

I think that the people who support haven't read it and the $700 Billion in cuts it will make, the difficulties it will create for ppl who need healthcare to get it, and not to mention the tax breaks that corporations and the wealthy will get, while the middle, lower and impoverished classes will be stuck paying out the wazoo and get bs "tax credits"... some that ppl got using the ACA/Obamacare.

Obamacare added a ton of job growth in the healthcare sector. Healthcare makes up 1/6th of our economy. Thanks to Medicaid expansion and more affordable, comprehensive healthcare where pre existing conditions, people with little disposable income because of lack of coverage could finally be covered and their disposable income grew. People with better healthcare jobs also became more frequent consumers. It was enough to impact retail sales. In turn retailers started adding jobs to our economy.

When you take healthcare money added in by Obamacare out of the economy, what exactly is going to happen? Another recession or even a depression.

I'm a special needs mom. My husband had a disability. We went from upper middle class (paying a shit ton of taxes w/out complaint) to near poverty overnight because my husband needed emergency brain surgery... And our situation can happen to anyone.

Unless you're really wealthy, you're once again one diagnosis or accident away from poverty... Unless you're not living in the USA. Then you're fine.

My organization is having a webinar on it next week, and my last day is Friday. I'm trying to get access or a breakdown before I leave. 
   
From what I have been able to see in passing, the pre-existing state conditions are still in, which is bad, and the cuts to federal Medicaid are just stupid imo. Cutting funding doesn't make people who are poor get sick less often. 
   
Ending penalties for people who aren't covered was the largest problem with the ACA. If the penalties hadn't been a roll out, and instead were a date for everyone, the backers wouldn't have had an issue getting paid, covering their costs, and it would better represent what is needed in actuary science as required to insure someone high risk. That is bad for hospitals and insurance backers, which are needed for anything like this to work. It will also make private plans go up. 
   
The funding for the entire thing is still lopsided, but I am not sure if that is intentional to destroy the concept and just get it passed. This will really hurt rural areas especially with the Medicaid cuts, as most of the other urban areas are in blue states. 
   
If they aren't consulting the people in the field, I'm not sure how they think a concept is going to be applicable. That would be like having the janitor do your surgery.
