Best baby book?

Question

Can anyone recommend a good baby book that actually tells you things you need to know when you bring baby home for the first time? I've started to panic, realizing I just don't know so many things. Like ways to prevent sids, are the swaddled when you put them down, and so much more! I'm a first time mom and I'm terrified of doing something wrong to our girl!

My hospital gave me a book when I went into labor and it had everything from caring to my episiotomy to when her shots were due and what they are.

I haven't read any books like that so I can't exactly answer your question but i want to asure you that everything will come naturally and the mother instinct is so strong that it will make you provide the best care for your child! I know it may sound silly now, but u will be amazed of what you and your body is capable of. Obviously it is always good to be informed, and i am sure there are books like that, but don't freak out and don't doubt tourself! You will do great! What i did was research online mostly about everything i need to know and everythig that comes your way. Mothers know best 💕 good luck!

The Mayo Clinic first year book. It's my second baby and I still found it very useful.
I read what to expect the 1st year with my 1st and it wasn't bad but I prefer the Mayo Clinic one.

Your hospital should have a newborn care class that is free or very cheap. Well worth it. They teach you how to swaddle, bathe, dress, how to hold the baby, etc.
