help understanding fet protocol pls
Hi,
Here's a bit of history son born 2004. No problems trying to conceive. Have had problems since 2012. Lots of test along the way and miscarriages and an ectopic which resulted in surgery and the loss of a tube.
Fertility issues on both sides myself and partner. Have had unsuccessful ICSI treatment.
We are finally in a position where we can try a FET with one of our two remaining blastocysts.
I'm a little confused with my protocol and unable to contact the clinic.
Is day 1 the first day of my natural cycle. It's due any day so wanted to check.
Here's a quote,
"DAY 1 START FER REGIME OF OESTRADIOL VALERATE
Telephone nurses asap.
A date will be given for your start of monitoring.
Commence low dose aspirin.
Day 1 onwards commence oestradiol 1 tab 3 times per day.
Is this the first day of my period?
Any help or advice much appreciated.
