tired of being treated like a child by doctors

Last year I took antibiotics for a skin problem. They didn't work but resulted in thrush. I went to the doctors they gave me canesten pessaries and never anything else. This did not work. I went back and I was given another pessary despite me telling them it did not work. I've now tried probiotics, salt baths, tea tree oil, no longer using pads all in an effort to find some relief. After none of that worked I've gone back to the doctors. They finally took a swab which came back negative, I was then Told that because I was given a pessary before the swab it wasn't reliable. So now I have another swab and now waiting for the results that I already know for certain that it is thrush. They also don't tell me when the results are back I waited weeks last time before I eventually called. All this could've been solved if I had, had a swab done first and given a course of treatment. I'm just so tired and run down over this, they treat me like Im a child. Anyone got any other remedies to help? X
