Canesten thrush cream

I've used the only canesten pessary on the first night, and the external cream for 4/5 days now. I don't seem to have the main symptoms anymore so would it be safe to stop using it? The reason why I'm asking this is because I know that with antibiotics, you have to finish the entire course despite your symptoms having stopped, or else the bacterial infection will come back. Let me know if anyone of you have stopped canesten mid way before because your symptoms have subsided, or just any recommendations as to what should I do. :)
