EDIT: why does my 4 month old grab herself in between diapers changes?

Yes I know it's something uncomfortable to talk about but I just want to know if it's normal or should I talk to her doctor? And btw it's uncomfortable to talk about for me because I was molested as a child. Anything like that to me is UNCOMFORTABLE. That's your opinion.

Remember that you're associating something with her body that she does not. To her, it's just her body that she's exploring. There's nothing wrong or sexualized about it in a baby's mind. Exploring her body is a completely natural process and it's great that she's a curious little girl explain her world!

My son discovered his penis around 6 months and at nearly 2 he still grabs at it 😂 totally normal though.

She's learning. It's normal. It's just like discovering their hands and feet. You're seeing it as oh no it's a vagina/penis and they're seeing it as "oh look a new body part!"  All babies do it at some point or another.

Mine does the same, I wouldn't worry about it unless you notice a foul odor or she seems in pain after you notice a wet diaper. Mine just seems to like to feel around down there lol

Normal. And not uncomfortable to talk about. Any time they discover a new body part they want to explore. Mine did the same w her toes, then her hair, etc etc.

For a baby it's more like "Whoa... what the hell is that?! I have to check it out," kind of thinking. They need to explore it.
