Depo Shot?

How did the depo shot make you guys feel? More info the better ❤️

I absolutely loved the shot. It didn't make me gain an unreasonable amount of weight. I didn't cramp, didn't have my period. I was on the shot for about 6 years. Now that I've been off of it, I have gained a ton of weight and have worst cramps. It's been a year and we are still trying to get pregnant. It had really messed up my system. It took 7 months after stopping the shot to get a period. But I loved it! After a baby I'll probably get back on it.

I gained a lot of weight from the shot. It really effected my appetite and I developed a binge eating habit. On top of that, it messed with me even worse mentally. Lots of mood swings, depression, my anxiety worsened. I've been off of it for more than a year now and I feel like myself for the first time in ages.

After telling my new doctor about my experience she told me she always recommends not taking the shot. 🤔

It stopped my period and makes me very hungry all the time but it works good for me ☺️
