Me being the moron I am, I decided to unblock B's dad and once again try to at least be on civil terms not for us but our child. Things were slightly okay until I sent him the text message asking him to help me buy Brantley a toddler bed. I NEVER ask him for anything and he never gets Brantley anything and considering B's birthday is coming up I figured this could be his present for his son. He has ignored and avoided me in every way since we talked about the toddler bed. Every. Single. Time that I have ever asked him to help me buy B something he tells me "I'll buy it if I can" or "I'll try" and then he ignores me and runs for the hills and won't talk to me for like a month. The bed is only $120 and I was actually going to put money with it so he wouldn't have to pay full price even though he should! I've definitely learned my lesson and won't bother trying to fix things again, my son deserves better. Thankfully though my mother (who shouldn't have to do this) said she would gladly help me get B his new bed since the one he sleeps in now is messed up. It just makes me so angry how other people will help me buy things for B but his own father won't! Also literally two days before this text he even told me he could spend $50-$100 on B a birthday present, obviously not though.🙄

Anyways backstory. Me and my BD do NOT have a good relationship at all to the point where I actually had him blocked this past month and me being nice I unblocked him and decided to give him one more chance to do right by his child. Literally anytime I ask to help with his child in any financial way he starts ignoring me completely. I just don't understand why someone could be like this. I almost NEVER ask him for help so you'd think when I did he could help me out just a little. I just needed to vent and was originally going to put this on Facebook but the few friends I share with him on there would make up every excuse for him and try to make me seem like the bad guy.

**Where I live child support is basically a joke. Everyone I know that has their BD on it is still not getting any money from the dude, and the court won't even bother with it, they act like it's no big deal. So I think it's pointless to do it since he still won't even pay (he said in his own words he wouldn't) and the court won't do anything either.
