5month old still has eating issue/choking

My baby is almost 5.5 months old and still will do a thing where it's like he forgets to breathe while eating and will start flailing like he cant breathe until he catches his breath. I don't know if he's ACTUALLY choking or aspirating breastmilk but it looks like he cant catch his breath (eyes wide, gasping, swallowing hard). Anyone else's baby doing this? I'd say it's a couple times a week.
