About baby bottles an formula?

Question

I thought u were supposed to warm up a babies bottle before feeding them? Has that changed or something my friend just gives her baby room temp formula an said that wic told her its not safe to give babies heated up formula... I'm so confused on this.

It's not required but I always have and always will warm my babies bottles.
I wouldn't want to drink that stuff cold lol

Totally fine to give it warm or room temp. It actually makes it easier to get your lo used to room temp because if you're out for the day, you might not have access to something that could warm it up

My friends have always just given their babies room temp water. If you want to warm their bottles it should be run under warm water, never microwaved.  Room temp bottles are so much easier because you can always make one while you are on the go.

either way is fine. i do room temp during the day. at night i usually make several bottles and put them in the ice box. i only use my bottle warmer at night to take the chill off the bottles.

My son liked room temperature. Definitely made life easier when we were out somewhere and didn't have a place to warm it. We never gave it to him cold. Had a friend who's kid would only drink it at a certain temp so If they forgot the warmer, they had issues with her taking it.

Because it can burn them or upset their tummys my son hated warm milk and it gave him gas so i gave him cold milk.

You don't have to heat it. It used to be what they did back in the day but it really doesn't matter. I chose not to heat my babies up at all because my thoughts were that when I'm out and about if he need a bottle I won't have the stuff to heat it and he may not take the bottle then. I just use room temperature water.

You dont need to its more of the babys preference my son didnt care hot cold lukewarm or room temp my daughter on the other hand will not drink a cold lukewarm or even room temp bottle it has to be warm

You don't have to my daughter always had room temp bottles. She's on whole milk now mostly drinks it cold I do take the chill off for her night time bottle
