help!

This guy who I was kind of dating was touching me in public and I didn't know what to do so I Sat there as I thought it would be too awkward if I told him to stop. I ignored him today and told him that I would rather be friends as he was a different person when trying to date me and he got angry. He's blocked me on snapchat and won't reply to my texts. Now I feel bad for him and I still like him a bit. Is that wrong?
