Hickey

I’m 15, have a boyfriend and came home yesterday with a hickey on my neck. My mom saw it this morning and freaked. I don’t know what to do or say so can y’all please just give me tips or something? Like I don’t really know how to react, when she found out she wasn’t really mad but she was ugh idek how to explain it. Now she thinks my boyfriend is just trying to get in my pants but it really isn’t true at all because he’s told everyone multiple times that we aren’t having sex anything soon because it ruined his last relationship (he’s about to turn 17) I don’t know what to do to make sure I don’t cross the line again ig. I really just want to see what y’all think about it.
