Jobs to do at home?

So I'm not opposed to working outside the home, but if I can work at home i would appreciate it more. I am just wondering if there are any moms out there who do legitimate work at home for a decent income? Not necessarily bringing in thousands, obviously, but enough for me to help my husband pay bills/pay off some debts? I am NOT interested in selling products like ItWorks or Avon or anything like that. I have also submitted some short stories for money in the past, and am no stranger to editing. Please, any input would be helpful. Thank you in advance...

My dad makes about $100,000 from our home office. 
He manages a team of technical writers for Dell corporations. He's an English major. You can totally get started with technical writing from home!

I do, yes. I make about 60k a year and work from my couch 4 days a week. I have to go to the office 1 day a week.

The key isn't finding a job to work at home. Most of those are pyramid schemes that often don't work and cost you money, or sales positions which don't work for everyone and require significant buy ins.

The key is finding a legitimate career with an employer that has teleworking capabilities and allows for remote work options. They are out there. Personally, I work for the government. I work very hard and I had to pay my dues, but I have an amazing career. Check usajobs.gov
