Plan B and birth control help!!

i started my period July 29th and it ended three days ago. I'm supposed to start trinessa birth control today but last night I hooked up with a friend last night and this morning and he didn't pull out both times.. he bought me the take action brand and Idk how I'm supposed to start my birth control now. Can I take it even tho I took the contraceptive? Thank you in advance!!
