why do dogs like the couch so much???

So im training my dogs how to NOT go to the couch, and they keep coming up here. It's sooo annoying. I specifically have a little chair couch next to the window and my dog doesn't like that he likes the couch where we sit . any of your dogs like this?

They just want to be with you. All you can do is continually tell them to get down and they eventually will stop coming up with you. When you're gone it's free game though. My aunts dog knows she can't be on the couch and doesn't go on it when everyone's around but we've come home to her trying to scramble off of it 😂

Because they know they're not supposed to be on there lol imagine if someone was eating ice cream and told you you couldn't have any...wouldn't that make you want it more? But I understand why people don't want dogs on the furniture
