Can I still go swimming if my mucus plug is coming out?

Only some of my mucus plug has come out and I'm wondering if it's still safe to have sex or swim in a chlorinated pool. Swimming relaxes me and I still wanna have sex lol, but I'm wondering if I have a risk of infection?

I would ask your OB to be on the safe side. If it's just pieces of your mucus plug it will regenerate. I've been loosing pieces since around 20 weeks.

I wouldn't because of the chlorine. the mucus plug is what protects your baby from any infection so once it's released you should be careful
