So my period ended five days ago on Saturday September 9th. My S/O and I were intimate late that evening. I still spotted a little for another day or so. A few hours ago I used the restroom and I wiped some brown discharge and It smelled like fresh blood but it was brown. I've had small twinges on my right side but I usually get those normally not sure why. But I just went to the restroom again and no more brown spotting. Anyone else had this before? I'm not technically due to ovulate for four or five more days. But this brown stuff smelled like my period was about to start. The flash made it look kinda yellowish but it's brown in person like a tan color. Also my period wasn't like it normally is. I had no cramps and it was seemingly lighter than usual. My last two cycles after my miscarriage and D&C; in June they were really heavy and crampy.
