Waiting to announce to family is torture!
I'm 9w4d and dying to tell the world our big news. This will be our first baby and the first grandbaby for our parents. We want to tell our parents and family first before sharing with everyone else. We waited til my first ultrasound to make sure everything looks good, which it does.
Since both sets of parents will be in town on May 1st, we plan to tell them in person then. I think it'll be great and I want to do it... But the idea of waiting another two weeks is torture! Plus I'm worried people at work will have figured it out by then!
Anyone else having a hard time keeping their pregnancy a secret? It feels so weird to me that I've told people like my optometrist but not my own mother! Need encouragement to wait a little longer...
