I'm a ftm, so I honestly have no idea about teething at all. But he's just about 3 months now and he's been super fussy which is so out of character for him, as well as drooly and hot.

Looks like swollen teething gums. It can still take a while to break through though 😩 My daughter was teething for months until it finally broke through the gums at 7.5 months. 
This was my daughter a week and a half before her first tooth showed up

Looks like it ! You can get them some teething toys. My daughter really liked ice, I'd just put chips in her binky .

Yes that looks like it! Is he putting his hands in his mouth? When my daughter started teething I used this natural oil and would massage it into her gums and it worked wonders!! She wasn't a fan of frozen teethers until 7 months, but she liked sucking on cloth, and rubber teethers.
