Birth story time😊

I can't believe it's finally my turn to write one instead of reading everyone else's😍

At 550am my boyfriend and I left for the hospital. By around 830 we were all checked in and waiting for my OB to make her rounds to my room. By 9 she checked my and I was 3cm & my pitocin was finally started! 1230 I was at 4cm and she broke my water, after that the contractions started getting pretty intense. At 4 my pitocin was on 22 and I was only 4&1/2 and feeling not so hot😂 contractions were every 2-3 minutes and around 20-30 seconds each. It's crazy how they only hurt when they're happening and it's instant relief when it's over.. at 6, they decided to do an internal monitor next to the baby to watch my contractions, which was a weird tube catheter. 8 rolls around, pitocin on 26 and only at 5 contractions ever45 seconds to a minute.🙄 I was in so much pain I was crying but was convinced I didn't want any pain medication. 9 I caved in and got my epidural, as my OB greatly suggested would get things going if I relaxed. Around an hour later I was finally asleep and my nurse and another come in and move me on my side which proceeded to happen for the next hour and a half, every time I'd contract her heart rate would drop. They did and amniotic infusion and thankfully that steadied everything out since I was 100% convinced I was going to end up with a c-section. I slept for a while, talked for a while and took a nap around 1am. I woke up at about 2 and could REALLY feel my contractions, I was fully dilated finally!! She wasn't far enough down so I steady had contractions every 30-40 seconds for an hour, pushed for an hour and a half, &at; 4:50am on September 20th, my perfect Little Everly was finally here😍 7lbs 10oz's 20inches long. Only had one small first degree tear and was feeling great and up and moving just hours later. I've never felt more blessed and in love😍💕
