Freaking out about L&D! 😳😨😰😱

Aggie

I'm sitting here for the past few weeks reading all types of Birth Stories & I can't help but freak out. My boy seems to be on a larger size and I am Definitely NOT a large woman. I gained just about 36 lbs so far with this pregnancy but noticed my arms, legs and face never gained any of it. My hips are still the same size as they were pre-pregnancy and knowing that my little boy has rolls of fat (oh ya, the ultrasound tech showed them to us at 31 weeks- I couldn't believe it myself), I'm scared that he won't be able to pass through my pelvic area to get out. His head measured 2 weeks ahead while the rest measured a week ahead (at out 31 week ultrasound), so I know he'll have a gigantic brain just like daddy, and I'm terrified of pushing it out.

Majority of the birth stories I read explain how the baby was stuck and they had to either use a vacuum or push on top of the belly, or even end up in c-sections (oh gosh, I hope I never have that option) and their babies are 9-10 lbs 😳

I'm 36w3d today and he dropped tremendously low, so I know the day is coming soon ... but knowing he's SO freaking heavy (I'm assuming he's over 7 lbs already - I'm usually spot on on the measurements and weight estimates) I'm freaking out I will have complications this time around while pushing him out - especially if he goes to my due date or pass (Oct 19th) πŸ™ˆ

So I have a question for all the 'smaller size' ladies that have given birth to large babies ... did you all have complications during birth? Or was there some that actually had very easy labor despite the size of your little chunker?
