UK: shouldn't the minimum wage be equal to all ages?

In UK the minimum wage differs from age to age, as shown on the picture bellow. Am I the only one who finds it unfair that a person of 20 years old working in the same position as one of 21 would get roughly less £232 per mouth if they were working the same full time 40 hours per week?

I think that over 18 it should be the same. Definitely understandable to lower it for those under 18 though.

I'm a bit on the fence. Yes it should because since the lively government got rid of EMA students have found it hard to survive, those in college/sixth form can work less hours for the same money and still focus on their education. 
On the other hand, they may not necessarily have the obligations as older colleagues such as rent, childcare, bills etc.
But then again, some 16 year olds are independent, they leave home and are told to fend for themselves. It would help it wages were higher as some would not need to rely on benefits as such

Once over 18 yes. Below that no since they wouldn’t be as much of a reliable worker due to school commitments. But also take into account the amount of years they are in the job also.

I think it should be.  Currently it discourages companies from hiring older workers because they naturally have to pay a higher minimum wage.

From 18 yes because that's when people start having commitments like rent and bills under that age they can't rent and most bills have to be over 18 so there's not much point

Younger people do not have the skill sets that older, more experienced workers have. So, no, I think we should let employers pay younger people a little bit less. That way, employers will have some incentive to hire people just out of high school. Employers love saving whatever $ they can. They are already taxed beyond belief, small businesses in particular.

Nope. 
Under 18 you should still be living with a guardian/parent and still be in school. Most aren't paying bills by that age. 
Apprenticeships are learning while you work. It's not like a proper job. So I agree with the lower payment also. 
After 18, it probably should be equal.
