kidneys

Okay, this is the 3rd time this year I have gotten a kidney infection. This time it was bad enough to have to have Iv antibiotics. The worst part is until Tuesday morning at 1 am I hadn't shown any symptoms, all three times have been the same. Nothing, at all. I woke up feeling like someone stabbing me in the side. Went to the ER and apparently was in the first stages of septis. Does anyone else have problems with UTIs and kidney infections without symptoms?
