Fostering

Hello! Looking for info! We are currently struggling to conceive. It’s not like we’re religiously trying but we sure know when ovulation days are etc... for 4 years now even before my husband was my boyfriend I told him I’ve wanted to foster... I keep bringing it up because there are SO many kids in need of homes and love... I just have a big heart.. I want to take all the kids... and before we were dating he was like oh that’s so cool, that’s great, I’d love to do that too! Now that we’re married he literally is like no. I’m not doing that and if it’s not my kid I’m not interested... when he has a kid from a previous relationship and I’ve taken him in like my own for the last 4 1/2 years and he is being an asshole. I need help! I’m thinking about proceeding by myself.. but I’m afraid the agency will question why my husband isn’t part of the process? I need help I really want to do this and I don’t see why he’s being so rude and cold about it. Anyone foster? I guess I’m just upset... I want this and I’ve wanted it for so long.. but now, I feel like he’s crushing my dreams...
