Behind What I Thought But Fine!

I'm so happy! I had a mc in June between 7-8 weeks. The baby had stopped growing at 5 weeks. It was an awkward rushed ultrasound and the doctor was there. I was off my two weeks but I knew when I had ovulated because I had been tracking with an at home kit. I did ovulate a week late but it shouldn't have put the baby at 5 weeks. They did blood work. I was there because of spotting. I did miscarry a few days later after the doctor said I would. I miscarried at home and it was so emotional and painful.

Now, in September I found out I was pregnant again!! My husband and I are thrilled but terrified! This time I hadn't been doing ovulation testing. I had tracked my period but that was it. The doctor got me in at 4 weeks 1 day and did blood work. A few days later I came in for more blood work and a general welcome. Today is the day we've been waiting for. My blood work was good. Numbers high and no supplements. Today we went for my ultrasound at 7 weeks 1 day. Through internal we saw the heartbeat at 127bpm! The baby was measuring small but the doctor explained that was normal since I ovulated later last time. He congratulated us and gave me a pregnancy book to read! We expect our little one May 26th So happy so relieved. He said my chances of mc have dropped to 10% after the heart ❤️ was detected!
