First period after stopping breastfeeding?

Was your first period after nursing different than before?  I've had a couple periods while nursing but this is my first since my son was done breast feeding.  I'm head over the toilet nauseous and in horrible pain.  I'm even crying...  UGH.

Yes. Because of the hormone change when you stop as your levels go back to normal for some the first period after stopping can be horrible. I personally had never had such awful need to stay in bed painful cramps till I stopped breastfeeding. I felt like death.

I had a normal period a year and a month after having my daughter. I never stopped breast feeding.

Got my first period when my baby turned  11 months and he's 14 months  now and it hurt like hell and bleed for 10 days
