Not sure where to post this but I need a rant.

My daughter is 6 and lately I feel like I can't cope with her. She is not naughty per say but she doesn't listen to a word I say, so I get angry at her and shout and then she cries so I just give in to her it's just goes round and round because I feel bad for shouting at her! My husband works away Monday to Friday and she is a little angel when he is home so he doesn't understand and says I'm being over dramatic!

Iv been at work all day, come home cooked her tea and she has refused to eat it, so I told her she won't have any supper, her reply 'I don't care' 😡😡. Iv just started the house work and asked her to bring her juice bottle down from her room she replied ' i have to do everything for you mummy and you don't help me' I feel like crying! I feel like she hates me! What am I doing wrong? Does anyone have any parenting advice?

Just wanted to say thank you for all your advice and tips, Iv taken it all on board and we have had a really positive few days. I can see a difference in us both already. We even sorted out all her old toys together ready for new ones Christmas (I usually do this by myself but she wanted to help) the chart thing is a god send, she can't wait for friday to come to claim her prize. She has a choice of a new DVD or a book!
