Helppppp

So my baby is 5 days old. While in the hospital her nursed no problem. He nursed at home the first 2 days fine as well.

Then we hit our 3rd day home and he just started flat up refusing the breast. He will scream his head off and I can clearly see he’s rooting and he’s hungry but he makes no attempt at all to latch anymore.

I nursed my daughter for 2 years no problem and I’m feeling like a failure. I can get him to latch and drink but it’s really difficult and only works sometimes.

Anyone know what’s going on? I know he’s capable of a good latch cause I’ve seen it. It’s like he just doesn’t want it?? I’m determined to EBF. I have a Lactation consultant today and I’m hoping she helps.
