I'm dating this guy and he's 19 and is a virgin, I'm 21 and have had a few partners and he said when I'm ready is when we can have sex and said he's waited 19 years what a little bit longer. he's not pressuring me or anything. I don't want to rush things like I did in my past relationships but after how long of dating is a good go to of when it's alright to?

Well, all I have is my experience. When we met I was 17 with a couple partners and he was a 24 year old virgin. He was beyond ready for sex, but didn't pressure me at all. We had sex on the second date. That was 11 years ago and we've been married for 10 years. So, in my experience, when it's the right person, there's no such thing as too soon.

Honestly, just go with the flow, when it's right it's right. When my current bf and I first had sex, we were getting hot & heavy at night and I was like "no, I'm not ready yet" so we just went to bed and the next morning we woke up and I just felt ready, like the flip of a hat. Just try and listen to your body, you'll know when it's right 😊
