I feel like a shitty person

Ok so I gave my boyfriend my old 6s plus yesterday because he cracked his screen on his phone and he’s super excited because he has a better and bigger phone and he just got it activated today. But.... My mom just called me saying she sold my 6s plus to someone and I need to bring is home Saturday. She sold it to our neighbor to help pay off my tuition bill this semester. He’s gonna be so upset. Can y’all help me figure out a way to break the news to him
