I had bunion surgery three months ago it’s all healed up just a few scabs left but now I’m worried it can get infected!!!

So I had bunion surgery on both my feet neither of hem are fresh looking incisions anymore but i recently trimmed my toe nails really good after so long from recovering and my left toenail a day after I trimmed started hurting really bad the right one wasn’t so bad. The left one has started to get red around my nail and I’m pretty sure I have like a cuticle nail infection from probably damaging the tissue around my nail while cutting I’ve been putting natural healing plant drops on it cuz they work well for anything and it was getting better but I’m still worried, is there any way the infection on my toe can spread to my surgery incision and get infection?

(The blood is from just stubbing my toe on the counter 😭 and the yellow is pus that’s been coming out since the first day I noticed the pain) See how close my incision gets to my toe, which is why I’m worried.
