Screaming 6 Month Old??

Hi ladies! I need your help!

My usually very sweet and happy 6 Month Old has become a nightmare child.

She wakes up her usual happy self, giggles and plays through the morning. And then she goes down for her first nap. And when she wakes up, she’s a totally different child. Screaming like she’s in pain, very clingy, constantly wanting to nurse. Nothing consoles her. And she stays that way until bed time.

Nothing in her schedule has changed.

I haven’t introduced any new foods to her this week.

No fever or any other signs of teething or sickness.

I’ve offered popsicles and frozen rags and frozen fruit to help in case she’s teething, but those don’t help.

Baths help calm her, but as soon as I take her out of the water it starts again.

What could be going on?? What can I do to help her?? Should I call her doctor, even though there’s no other signs of her being sick?
