Two months old still don’t feel bonded

So my beautiful baby boy is going to be two months old tomorrow. I still don’t feel this strong connection or bond with him. I know I love him but when he was born I didn’t get this whole big love like all you hear about. I’m dying for it but can’t get it. Now I have to go back to work and scared I will never get it. It sucks when I want it so bad.

I spoke with my doctor and she said it is not PPD.

All she said was “don’t let anyone tell you how you should feel about your baby”

But it didn’t make me feel any better.

Please stop saying it’s PPD I spoke with multiple doctors. We just haven’t bonded yet.
