The original post was about a mother saying she hoped to breastfeed until her daughter was 10 and even past that age if she could. I see her point but also don’t think it’s wrong as long as it’s not hurting anyone.

The picture in the post is kinda vague so idk what the argument is actually about but I do know that one of the reasons doctors encourage weaning off of bottle feeding is b/c a bottle nipples can actually disrupt or otherwise affect proper dental development...or at least that is what doctors say...the breast supposedly does not do this due to its natural ability to mold and conform to child’s mouth as teeth grow in...in relation to other stuff in the post...10yrs seems like a lot..I actually have never seen or heard of a child willingly breast feeding to that age, especially since social pressure at school begins to have effect even earlier than that...but I wouldn’t judge anyone who did it...

Perhaps whatever is in the formula is only beneficial up to baby’s year hence switching to cows milk or almond milk??
