Possibly PCOS

So I'm still waiting on the doctor to call me with test results.. but my doctor is pretty sure I have PCOS. This frightens me. It would make sense. I can't lose weight, been TTC with no luck, hair loss, my periods have become very irregular, never the same time or close to it each month. Also, it goes from light, just barely more than spotting, to it's like Niagara Falls..

I'm scared of new diagnoses, but I am hoping this may be an actual answer. How do you deal with waiting for answers? How do you deal with the diagnosis?
