Birth Control& Antibiotic (Lengthy)

I know the whole spill about how some antibiotics make your birth control less effective. But I was prescribed 250mg Cefuroxime for bronchitis about 3 weeks ago and had all kinds of crazy side effects (anxiety, nervousness, weird dreams, nausea, upset stomach, shakey, just not myself). Has anyone had any issues with an antibiotic messing up their birth control completely? I'm usually very regular on the pill, but ever since taking the antibiotic I have had sore boobs the whole time and I started spotting a whole week early (never done that) and I'm cramping worse than I ever have before, so much that it makes me so sick. Been to the doctor so we're waiting on blood work and urine test. Just curious if anyone else experienced problems like this before??
