Video game addiction

I swear i have tried everything to talk with him about it. The biggest compromise we’ve been able to come to is that he wont touch any of his games on Fridays and that we will spend that time together. He plays every other day. He plays as soon as he wakes up (usually around 10 am) until he goes to bad (usually between 3-6 am) he says it’s because its the only time he talks to his friends from back home and that its his hobby. He wears a sound canceling headset and it super loud even when i tell him he’s being too loud. He always gets super angry and cusses all the time to people on the mic and it’s annoying and anxiety inducing. He’s great in every other way but i just want to take a baseball bat to the damn game system
