UPDATED: Partner won't go to the Dr... 😭😭

My partner has had an infected ingrown toenail for almost 2 years. I got a pic from google that looks closest to what his is like now. I've urged him to go to the Dr countless times but he's refused. He's hated going to Dr's since he was a child and will avoid it at all costs, even when he's really sick. He also can't take any medication, we have to buy dissolvable paracetamol as he can't swallow even small tablets 😒 lol. But we have a son now and I'm really worried about his foot. It's literally been like this for 2 years, I'm worried the infection could get worse and he might lose his toe. I'm making an appt for him tomorrow and praying he will go... Any advice? UPDATE: So we went to the Dr FINALLY and he was prescribed a weeks worth of liquid antibiotic to take 3 X a day until he goes back next week to have the nail removed 😵😵 they're just doibg it at the Drs office under local anesthetic which I thought was a bit weird. But anyway, we made it and he's finally getting treated. Thanks so much for your comments
