Did you take Prenatal vitamins?

Trying to decide if I should take prenatals before I actually get pregnant! I currently don’t take any supplements but I’m looking in to getting some anyway for my overall health. My husband and I will be trying to conceive when he comes home from his deployment and I’m trying to do everything I can to prepare my body for our first baby. Please leave your experience ❤️

I was trying to conceive for over a year with no luck so I went to see my doctor she prescribed prenatal vitamins and set me up with an appointment to see the fertility doctor, I started taking the vitamins right away and purchased an ovulation and pregnancy tests kit on amazon and three days before my fertility appointment I found out I was pregnant, I am now 20 weeks and due in March.

My doctor told me to take them as soon as I get my birthcontrol out. It doesn’t hurt it helps prepare your body and you get all the vitamins you need.

It’s recommended that you take them at least 3 months before getting pregnant.

I took them for months before we even started trying to conceive. and we got pregnant the first month of trying. it helps to prepare your body:)

I started taking them in March (2017) when we decided to start trying and now I'm due March 2018! The only thing I would mention is the constipation! Make sure you up your water intake, fiber rich foods etc.

I don't think it hurts! My doctor suggested I take folic acid, zinc, and vitamin d while ttc.

My pregnancy wasn’t planned so I never started it till I found out in June of last year. She’s almost 6 months! With my other 3 I did a couple months early
