Any Mummies gone/going back to work!? what are you doing for childcare?

I am looking to go back to work but unsure what do with my little one. I can't afford daycare and have no family to have him. Just wondering what everyone else is doing. I need ideas.

I started my own little daycare watching just a few little ones part time to help other families and to be with mine and contribute to our income.

That's a shame my son stays with family members while I'm at work it's a real blessing child care centers scare me I hear to much bad stuff hope u can figure something out good luck

Your options are limited. It sounds like you will have to be a SAHM for now until you can either get someone to watch him or pay for daycare. My spouse and I work different shifts so we don't need to pay a baby sitter or daycare tuition for now.

My boyfriend has been watching him. I went back a month and a half after he was born.

I work on my husbands days off so he watches her while I’m at work and we switch off

Hubby and I switch. He gets out at 10am and when he comes home I go to work. He watched him during the day and when I get home I grab the baby and watch him for the rest of the evening and night until we do it all over again

Me and my partner will unfortunately have to become ships that pass in the night and occasionally my mam will have to help so I'm really lucky. Sorry this doesn't help you at all

Thank you everyone for your responses ❤️ looks like I am going to be a SAHM for a while. Not what I had planned but day care is to expensive even with employee discount it's almost £1000 a month. Not worth in my eyes.
