Fertility meds and breastfeeding

Hi all! I hope this is okay to ask here (I don't think I've already asked in this group) but anyone know of safe meds to take while breastfeeding? I'm looking for something to bring on my period and something to help me ovulate. Anyone talked to their doctor and been have been prescribed something while breastfeeding?

*i have an appointment coming up with my midwife so I am definitely going to ask her about my options but would like to hear from others on their experience and also have an idea of what meds to bring up.
