lost in love

my significant other and I have been together for one year now. I basically live with him on the weekends Friday to Monday and I enjoy that very much still give us our own personal time and space. but I also would like to be able to live here full-time but due to the fact we both have pets and the space is too small we just physically can't live together yet full time. I also feel frustrated cuz my significant other has been married before and was married for 5 years now we are together and I'm not sure if he really would want to get married before we live together for a year. but the place he's currently living he still has another 2 years of living here because of a mortgage he has on the building. we are looking into moving to Michigan I also worry because all his couple's friends have been together 5 or 6 years still aren't even engaged and I'm hoping. he's not going to follow that course even though he knows I want to get married. everytime I try to bring up the topic it just kind of gets pushed to the side cuz you have a lot going on I don't know what to do any suggestions?
