Getting fit challenge
Hi all! 👋🏾 I recently had my 2nd child at the age of 24 and I currently weigh 185lbs. Before my pregnancy I weighed 177lbs and was told by my doctor how I was considered obese for my height of 5’2 and at risk of developing diabetes she wanted me to lose 15lbs by this time this year, but obviously that didn’t happen when I got pregnant. Shortly after finding out I was pregnant I weighed 171lbs and by the time I gave birth I was back at 177lbs. After I gave birth I was eating a lot of unhealthy options because I missed junk food so much during my pregnancy and gained 10lbs so last week I was at 187lbs. I’m currently at 185lbs because I recently decided getting into the gym would be best but my gym anxiety has me going nuts😬. All last week I was in the gym mostly on the machines and one day I decided to do squats and dumbbells and let me tell you I had never felt so out of shape in my life just struggling on the simplest things. Although people try to tell you no one is watching you it seems like all eyes are on the chunky girl who can barely run in place😭, but I’m determined to not let that stop me. So now I’m calling on all the ladies who simply want to be healthy, asking that you join me on this journey so that we can assist, motivate, share, and guide each other to our health goals. I’m personally not concerned with the numbers on the scale because I’ve been down to 130lbs after my first pregnancy and let me say I hated the way I looked I prefer meat on my bones, but that’s just me. I want to get down to the 162lbs that my doctor asked of me and get fit and toned. The challenge that I’ll be starting tomorrow is 100 push ups 100 squats and 100 sit ups for 30 days if you would like to join me please do. Eating clean is also being incorporated in getting fit. I don’t have social media but I do have the talktone app so I can use that to group msg anyone who wants to get involved. Also if you have any tips or any other challenges you would like to try im all for it. I’ll post some pics of the changes my body has experienced.
