I’m surrounded by people who were NEVER taught to cook.
My baby daddy and I come from completely different worlds. And for some reason in his world NO ONE and I mean NO ONE knows how to cook
It wouldn’t be such a big deal if we didn’t have a little girl on the way... it honestly wouldn’t be my problem if that weren’t the case
But we aren’t together so when she gets old enough he needs to be able to provide her as good of a meal as I can. I’m from a family that cooks to survive because eating out is a luxury
I said something about him learning how to cook though, in front of his room mates girlfriend... who barely knows how to make buttered noodles. And some how easily over cooks every meat she touches...
I mean seriously she didn’t know you’re supposed to freeze meat that you don’t plan on cooking for a few days or more?
60 plus dollars of expensive meat wasted by her because she didn’t know you’re supposed to freeze it if you dont plan on cooking it.. then she would buy meat and put it in the freezer not cook it at all and months later and let it get freezer burnt. That’s how little she cooked as it was
When I mentioned that she said to me... Don’t worry. I’ll teach him everything I know...
I’ve never been more worried about the food my child and her father will be eating than I am right now.. I could almost settle for fast food with them together before that.
If she does not take a Rachel Ray class first I’m going to tell her to keep her food away from my baby daddy and my daughter..
Is that too petty?
Sorry not sorry? 🤷🏻♀️
