Comments on biracial hair

Da

My daughter is half Trinidadian and a quarter Irish, quarter Ukrainian. She has curly hair that ranges from ringlets to some tighter curls. I keep it moisturized with a leave in conditioner/detangler and either coconut oil or grape seed oil after a bath. The thing is that I get a lot of comments about her hair... like people asking me if she’s sweating, if her hair is wet or why it’s greasy and that she needs a bath. Her hair is well taken care of and often has that “wet look”. I feel really defensive when people comment on her hair though as I don’t want her to have any negative feelings towards her hair... it’s beautiful just as she is. I guess it’s important to note that I don’t have her hair type... my hair is thick and wavy to straight but I’ve done lots of research on how to properly care for her hair and I think I’m doing it right... just makes me really upset and makes my inner mama bear come out... advice?
