Ingrown hair bumps! Help 😭😭

So I started shaving about 2-3 years ago, and I'd shave bare; sometimes even leave a little Hitler mustache poof:x. Ingrown hair bumps started rolling in as soon as it started growing back. I'd let the hair grow back all the time :/. My king says he dosnt mind, but I do. Its not attractive to me :(. I want then to go bye bye. How do I lose them? How do I prevent them? They're not on the lips, but more on the upper area. I want him to touch down there and feel skin as soft as a baby's booty butt. :'(
