Need some life help and opinions on my plans.

I'm 20 and didn't go straight to college because I lacked resolve and I was very unsure in what I wanted to be. I finally found my dream job which will only take me 3 years to do (need to attend community college first) but would it be smart to start a family after 1 year of college? 2nd year? Or go all the way.

My boyfriend and I want to try next year but I'm afraid having a baby might hold me back but I've ready so many stories of woman getting their education despite having a beautiful child. He's going to be 25 next year and I'll be 21 after and I want to be under 40 when my child turns 18. I don't want to have a child just because of that but I seriously wish to start a family.

I've tried speaking to my mother and father but I got judgment instead of advice and a lot of you are mother's or been through it :) So I'm seeking some motherly (or father) advice. What would you tell your daughter?
