why do many young women 18-23 have babies when. they have baby fever ?👶👣🍼 do you really want a baby or is it the fever talking ?

I got pregnant at 18 unintentionally. I got pregnant again at 19 intentionally. I wanted my kids to be close together in age and I wanted another baby. I’m financially stable, so why not. Both of my kids are already better off then some other people out there. They each have accounts of $200,000 for college. I had terrible parents. Now I get to use the parenting skills I needed for the children I love. Having children has drastically changed my outlook on the world.

I want to wait until I’m about 23 to have one intentionally. I’m graduating college at 19. I’ve worked hard my entire life to stay ahead in the game. I have my career lined up. My fiancé is settled into his military career. It’s a matter of timing, preparedness, financial stability, and job stability for me. We both really want to have one, we just need to be properly prepared and married.

Im 18 and never meant to be pregnant... and i wouldnt of tried... i decided to go through with it cause im in a stable relationship with a 26 year old man and we have a 2 bedroom townhouse and make over 60 grand a year together...so we could afford it...but even if i could go back i would wait .. its still tight but i dont regret my baby as i am so excited to meet her and raise her... but before i got pregnant i didnt like kids...nor did i want them... its different when u see that positive ...your whole perspective changes and you form a love and a bond for something you havent even met. Its unexplainable. But to the people who are trying at this age id tell them to wait and live your life a bit more... be selfish and go travel.. go party ...buy yourself nice things ... cause once there is a baby involved its never gonna be about you anymore.

I was married, and prepared. I gave birth 2 months before my 23rd birthday. I was 25 when I had my son. 26 when I gave birth to my middle daughter. I divorced when I was 34. Remarried, and had a son at 36 and a daughter at 39. I had more energy and patience in my twenties.
