Confused 😩

So i went to the drs for my long periods & lack of ovulation & the first thing my dr said was pcos . So the next day (yesterday) i went for fasting blood work & a pelvic u/s . While i was at my u/s the lady said they usually only confirm pcos with blood work 🤨. So she did the u/s and told me everything looks normal as far as she could see & my dr would get back to me . This morning my drs office calls & the nurses exact words were “ur pelvic ultrasound looks normal everything looks great” ..... so is pcos just a hormonal issue & ill know if i have it for sure once my blood work results come in? Im just so confused as to why im having 56 days or more cycles and not ovulating if everything looks good 😩 im soo confused
